Just debuted at Axpona:

The Wellington Micro is the active counterpart to JPORTER Studios’ acclaimed Waterloo Micro, integrating onboard Ncore amplification and DSP crossover processing into a fully self-contained bookshelf monitor. Built around the same asymmetric diffusion technology, the Wellington Micro adds class leading amplification and precision digital crossover tuning to deliver a complete, reference-grade system with no external amplifier required. Hand-built in Austin, Texas.

Key Features

  • True 3-way speaker with a Micro footprint
  • Asymmetric diffusion technology, design focused on imaging for room and placement friendly performance
  • Custom carbon-fiber sandwich tweeter and mid-bass driver: ultralight, ultra-rigid cone for vanishing-low distortion
  • 9” long throw aluminum subwoofer for deep bass performance
  • Integrated Hypex FA252 amplifier modules: 2x250W Ncore amplification with onboard DSP crossover: easy long term operability, servicing, and longevity
  • Precision DSP crossover: LR4 topology, digitally optimized for phase-coherent driver integration
  • Hand-built Baltic birch enclosure with extensive internal bracing and constrained layer dampening, assembled and voiced in Austin, Texas
